My Initial D collection is a celebration of one of the most iconic street racing series ever created, featuring a growing range of memorabilia, artwork, games, and collectibles inspired by the legendary battles of the AE86 Trueno and RX-7 on Mount Akina. The collection includes manga books, anime releases, soundtracks, video games, rare merchandise, and arcade items, with every piece reflecting the style, atmosphere, and passion that made Initial D a cult classic among car enthusiasts and racing fans worldwide. The collection continues to expand as I search for unique and nostalgic items that capture the spirit of mountain pass racing, Japanese car culture, and the unforgettable soundtrack that defined the series.
I’m currently restoring a Initial D 2 (UK-spec) arcade cabinet back to its former glory, carefully bringing new life to a machine that has decades of history behind it. The project involves stripping away years of wear and damage, repairing the cabinet, restoring the original artwork, upgrading worn electronic components, and making sure the controls and screen work as smoothly as they did when the machine first appeared in arcades. My goal is to preserve the authentic look and feel of the cabinet while giving it the reliability needed to be enjoyed for years to come. Every stage of the restoration is a mix of craftsmanship, problem-solving, and nostalgia, turning an 90s arcade cabinet into a centre piece for the collection.
